Hawkesbury Dressage Club Inc is pleased to announce that we are holding another Dressage clinic with Stefano van Zuijlen over 5 days in Jan/ Feb 2017.

The dates are  Jan 27^th , 28^th 29^th , Jan 31^st Feb 1^st   (There are no lessons on Monday Jan 30^th).

The clinic will once again be held at Heidi Scott’s Indoor Arena at Glenorie. Stefano has been teaching regularly in Victoria, and this will be his second visit to NSW, after the hugely successful clinic in October. Stefano’s best known horse was Undercover which he rode and trained to Grand Prix Level before his sale to Glock for Edward Gal.

This clinic will run for five days. As this is an Indoor Arena, it will go ahead rain, hail or shine!

Before entering, to get the member rates, you will need to have renewed your 2017 membership, so do this first by referring to the globalentries email sent out on 20/12. 

Enter now on http://www.globalentriesonline.com/equestrian_dressage/details/?eventId=580&eventDetailId=4652, please select your required number of lessons, and then your preferred time slot, but be aware that we may need to amend times, if not all timeslots are filled. Note that in order to give everyone an opportunity, those with multiple horses should please enter only one lesson per day, if you wish to be considered for more, please purchase a reserve lesson on that same day. If not all lessons are filled, you will be allocated your extra lessons. 

We have been lucky to be offered a continued reduced introductory rate, and also a discount for multiple lessons books by the one rider.  Financial Members (2017) of HDC will get a reduced rate ($20 per lesson reduced) . Non – members are also very welcome, at an increased fee. EA membership is required.

This is just a few weeks before our March Competition, so perfect timing!

Entries Close 11pm, January 22nd, 2017 – but be quick, interest is high, so spots will fill fast!! 

Rider dress is smart mufti, though helmet and boots are of course mandatory.

Lessons are $220 each (or $200 each for members) with discounts on the second or third or more lessons per rider. Please see Important note below about scratchings.

·         One Lesson $220 ($200 members)

·         Three lessons $610 ( $550 members) – each lesson on a different day

·         Five lessons $1000 ($900 members) – each lesson on a different day

Arena Fee: is included in the lesson fee.

These are the only three package options, so if you want two lessons, buy two single lessons, or if you want 4 lessons, buy a single and a three lesson package etc

When entering, please perform the following 2 steps:

Step 1: First select the number of lessons you wish to purchase – this is per rider, and one per day. (Ignore the date on the form – this is not relevant as you will select the day/time in the next step).

Step 2:  Select the timeslot “classes”. The timeslot classes are NIL charge, as you will have been charged for the number of lessons in step 1.This just allows us to offer you the timeslot option.

Lessons are 45 minutes. 

Note that lesson times may have to be changed if not all places are filled, and confirmed times will be sent a few days prior or as soon as they are all filled.

Once all classes are filled, there is also a Reserve class. Those who do not get a ride will be refunded.

The Reserve class should also be used for those interested in more than one ride per day.

Tea/Coffee/Water will be provided by HDC . Bring your own snacks/lunch.

Spectators welcome at a cover charge of $10 per person – this is payable on the day at the grounds to a HDC Committee member.

IMPORTANT: SCRATCHINGS must be sent via email to bellbrae@iinet.net.au. PLEASE NOTE: If there are no reserves available, the rider needs to find a replacement rider to be eligible for a refund.

There are limited day yards, and stables for anyone wishing to leave a horse overnight. If you wish to take up this option, please email Sally Barbera at sallybarbera@bigpond.com and she will help to arrange this directly with Heidi Scott – including getting costs etc.
