June 3 championships

Hawkesbury Dressage Club will run its annual championships at the Sydney International Equestrian Centre (SIEC) on Sunday, June 3.

Thanks to the generous support of Mulawa Performance, all FEI classes at this year’s championships will be held in the indoor arena on the fabulous new surface. Our championships will also be covered by Snafflebytes LIVE SCORING! Log on to http://www.snafflebytes.net/ throughout the day to get updated, live scores thanks to the amazing Snafflebytes Team!

Three jackpot classes with cash prizes for first , second and third place ($100/$75/$50) will also be offered on the day!

Other great prizes will be on offer thanks to our generous sponsors, including Robank who have supplied bags of feed.

Champions will be awarded from Official Preliminary through to Advanced, Small Tour, Big Tour, and Pony Champions.

We are currently seeking a steward for pooper-scooping duties in the indoor arena for the day. This is a paid position ($100). Please email entrieshdc@yahoo.com.au to put your name forward.

Special Notes re Championship classes:

FEI Small Tour and Large Tour Championship:  if there are less than 5 riders in each of these championships, it will be combined into one FEI Championship award. Inter A and Inter B are not championship classes.

THERE WILL BE NO PREPARATORY CHAMPION OR CLOSED UNRESTRICTED CHAMPION FOR THIS EVENT

Riders please note:

Official Competitive Classes- You must be an EA member to enter. PLEASE check your membership is current and your horses competition licence is also current before entering.

Closed Unrestricted Classes – You must be a member of the EA at either Participation or Competitor level or a financial member of HDC in order to compete. Refer to EA website for more information regarding membership categories. These are not championship eligible.

This event is not a Hendra Vaccinated Event. For details regarding the Hendra Policy, refer to the Hendra By Laws on the EA website.

Bridle and PIC numbers are compulsory. Bridle numbers must be displayed on BOTH sides of the horse/pony – on either the saddlecloth or bridle..
