2019 club championships

The 2019 Hawkesbury Dressage Club championships are now open.

Hawkesbury Dressage Inc Official Competitive Championships and Closed Unrestricted event will be run under current EA rules (Effective Jan 1 2019) This competition includes Para-Equestrian, Choose your own test, Open, Pony and AOR competitions.

Riders please note:

Official Competitive Classes- You must be an EA member to enter. PLEASE check your membership is current and your horses competition licence is also current before entering.

Closed Unrestricted Classes – You must be a member of the EA at either Participation or Competitor level or a financial member of HDC in order to compete. Refer to EA website for more information regarding membership categories. 

You will be asked which division you will be competing in – Open Rider, Pony Rider or Amateur Owner Rider (You may only compete in one division)

This event is not a Hendra Vaccinated Event. For details regarding the Hendra Policy, refer to the Hendra By Laws on the EA website.

Bridle and PIC numbers are compulsory. Bridle numbers must be displayed on BOTH sides of the horse/pony – on either the saddlecloth or bridle. Contact ENSW for a free bridle number if your horse does not have one. 

STABLES   If you are booking stables   PLEASE ORDER YOUR SHAVINGS AT THE TIME OF ENTRY   We suggest 1-2 bales for a day stay & 6-8 bales for overnight. The stabling now includes a refundable Stable Bond – This will only be refunded if the stables are left completely clean and in the  same state as you entered the stable. If not, SIEC will charge a $75 cleaning fee which will be covered by the Stable Bond. Stable Bonds will be refunded after the event via the online Nominate System. This means the funds will transfer back into your account via the method you paid.

After normal entries close, LATE ENTRIES will be accepted. Payment will be required at the time of nomination. There will be a late entry fee of $30 plus the normal class fee & normal Administration Fee. If you don’t get a ride, refund will be made after the competition (minus the Adminstration Fee).

DRAW – A provisional draw will be sent out shortly after entries close and final draw will be sent out on the Thursday prior to the event.  Please note there may be some changes in the draws due to judge allocations and timings etc.

VOLUNTEERS – Events like this don’t run with help, so if you can spare some time even just a few hours please let us know when you enter.  All riders are required to supply a name of a helper and contact number, it can be yourself as well.  Please ensure you put a name down not just TBA so that our events can run smoothly.
